I love that they allow door dash/grub hub/uber eats up to deliver. There's a clearly defined time that it stops (11p you need a room key to activate the elevator).

I don't love the lack of microwaves in rooms. There's rooms with microwaves, but one night it was locked and I couldn't determine why. Our employer has it so were either supposed to have a microwave in room, or available. Another dept had an available microwave, but that was kinda annoying that all the doors were locked.

The view inside and out was great (depending on the height of your room) adds the rooms are spacious. The location is central to the area with a lot of local fast food in easy walking distance which was great.

This was a great location for us as we were able to walk around and explore the area. I did like that the TV and water flow at this location was better than my previous location I was at. The room was perfect for 2 people and we also had a great view.

As a Globalist, I try to stay at Hyatt whenever possible. While this isn't the best Hyatt, it's a great location. Check-in was fine and the room was clean. Parking is easy with an attached garage, offering valet and self parking. The room was clean and fairly quiet.

I ate in the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Based on the restaurant, this location loses a star. Service was incredibly slow and the food was mediocre.

I'd stay here again but would skip the Hotel restaurant.

So the hotel itself is very nice to look at and the Starbucks attached to it was very convenient. It is also in a great location with a short walk to most things. Unfortunately, there were too many negatives for me personally.

Firstly, there is self parking and if you don't move your call at all it's $10/day. If you would like to move your car in and out it's $20/day.

Next, there was a small mini fridge, no freezer (not that I need it, just letting y'all know), that was frozen over and needed to be defrosted. There is no microwave in the room, not sure if there would be one available either.

The courtyard design of the hotel allows noises and voices to carry all the way up the center. So kids screaming and playing at 8 pm is one thing. But when quiet hours are from 10 pm- 6 am and people screaming and yelling is allowed all throughout the night sleeping isn't easy. Multiple events of this happened and it was obvious the staff wasn't enforcing the noise ordinance.

Lastly, while the room looks nice, there were several things that looked like there was no attempt to clean them - in fact the coffee maker was disgusting. And after cleaning it, it didn't work anyway. Also, the beds have lights underneath them to help you see at night I assume. But this isn't the movie theater and they were much too bright when trying to sleep. It would be nice if there was a way to turn them off - if there was I couldn't find it. So I blocked them, the best I could, with pillows.

If you don't care about sleeping, and get a good deal, this would be a good spot for a night on the town as it's so close to things. Also, be warned it's a homeless gathering spot outside of the Starbucks/front of hotel. Probably not good for hotel and Starbucks business but it is what it is.

We stayed here as a group with multiple rooms and many of our group had issues. In one room, the person had to kill a cockroach, in two different rooms, the comforter that was between the inner and outer sheets was stained with large yellow stains and one bed mattress cover was also stained yellow and had other unidentified stains. One person in our group went to use one of the water bottles for purchase in her room and when she went to open it, she could tell that the seal had already been broken/used. Upon further inspection, both bottles had the seals broken and seemed to have been filled back up with water and caps replaced. Carpets were also dirty and stained in many rooms. Even after requesting housekeeping, our room was still not serviced the entire weekend.

Staff was accommodating and offered to change rooms and credit a night's stay, but for a Hyatt Regency this is certainly not up to par. Even after changing rooms, I was scared of what types of things I would be bringing home with me. Also, considering many of our group had issues, I don't think this is a one off thing confined to one room.

Location was great, but there are other options of nicer hotels close by.

Decent hotel in downtown Louisville. Stayed here during a conference I was in town for. The restaurant Sway downstairs has a nice breakfast buffet. Solid 4 stars.

It has been quite some time since we stayed at a Hyatt Regency especially one that has a giant atrium. Given Covid and it being the middle of summer the place was very empty. Perhaps this is why we were able to stay here on a reasonable number of points.

The staff was friendly (the few that we saw since there is no daily housekeeping - which will be the new cost saving normal at all hotels). The room was very nice with a very modern decor. Our room in the corner was very quiet except for the AC fan/ damper which was very loud (we reported this upon check-out).

The location is very central to the convention center but a number of the closest restaurants appear to be out of business or with limited hours. The nearby 4th Street downtown is looking a bit tired and sad.

The parking in the adjacent garage was quoted as $20/day but if you don't take your car out during your stay, which we didn't it is only $10.

Overall we had a nice stay.

I had to book it for the local EquipExpo. It is one of those fancy hotels with glass elevators. It is in the downtown area, where you can walk to most restaurants. The staff was friendly. You must request that your room be cleaned, or they will not freshen it up. I believe most hotels are doing this due to whatever reason. The room was clean, and the hotel had security around the clock. I felt safe.

Very nice and fancy hotel located on 4th street in the heart of downtown Louisville near all the restaurants and entertainment downtown. So a good spot to stay for out of Towners.

We have been here a few times as locals because my daughter cheers and hey have competitions across the street at then convention center and they will rent a ball roll or conference room to meet up and practice.

Place has beautiful lobby and a cool setup where all the hotel rooms are on a circle and visible from the lobby. Makes a really cool Ariel view from lobby. The workers are always super nice and accommodating. They do have a Starbucks in the lobby and an on-site restaurant called "sway".

Overall very nice solace in a great area for out of towners. Most Hyatt's are pretty comfy and I have no reason to believe this one wouldn't be either.
