So that no one faces cancer alone.

About us

Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana is a nonprofit organization offering programs for men, women, children, their families and friends who have been touched by cancer. Our innovative program is an essential complement to medical care, providing support groups, healthy lifestyle workshops, educational programs, social activities, resources and referrals all at no cost to our members and their guests ensuring no one walks a cancer journey alone. Gilda’s Club is named in honor of comedian Gilda Radner – one of the original cast members of Saturday Night Live – who died of ovarian cancer in 1989 at the age of 42. After her death, her husband - comedian/actor Gene Wilder - and her close friends and family founded Gilda's Club in New York City in 1995 where people touched by cancer could find essential emotional and social support during their cancer journey. Our mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.
