Last week, we celebrated our amazing Laundry Department, whose hard work ensures things run smoothly behind the scenes at the Home. Cleanliness is always important, but it's especially crucial when serving children with medical complexities. We are so grateful for this team!

Each month, we celebrate team members for their demonstration of our core values (compassion, wellness, excellence, and empowerment) as well as our Sanctuary commitments (nonviolence, open communication, emotional intelligence, social learning, social responsibility, democracy, and growth & change). Today, we celebrate Alex M., IT Help Desk Analyst at the Home. Alex is very responsive and helpful with addressing our complex IT needs. His consistent tech support has enhanced our efficiency and overall productivity. The Home is lucky to have him as part of our team!

Today marks the Home's 144th anniversary. From our humble beginning on West Broadway in 1880, we said that we would be the change to help serve children. As we grew in size and served more children, we continued to say we would be the change. In 1975, when we merged with the Jewish Home for Convalescent Children, we said we would be the change. In 2003, when we opened our Joan Thomas Children’s Village, we once again said we would be the change. With help from volunteers and donors like you, we continue our mission of enriching the lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness. Will you be the change? https://buff.ly/45ERoEQ
