🌿 Meet Laura Vinson, Assistant Principal & Director of Admissions at our Hendersonville, TN campus 🌿 Laura is incredibly passionate about Ivybrook Academy's approach to education and is excited to serve all of our amazing Ivybrook families! With a degree in Elementary Education, Laura quickly found that her passion lies in the early childhood years. Before joining the Ivybrook team, Laura spent ten years working at preschools in California and Idaho. Her time in California was spent at a Montessori preschool, where she fell in love with the Montessori method. Laura finds great joy in helping students in this phase of life grow academically while also helping them develop a strong social and emotional foundation to set them up for future success. When not at Ivybrook, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and reading. She is thrilled to be continuing as an administrator and helping families, current and new, feel at home at Ivybrook!

At Ivybrook Academy, our classes are half days so that students can have a fulfilling academic experience while still having plenty of time each day for extracurricular activities and family time. Our half-day curriculum allows students to ease into and adjust to a school environment at a more manageable pace. They'll socialize with their peers and develop a love for learning without the burnout that can come from a full-day program.
