  • Thanks to generous donations to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Reese has received ongoing, specialized care for cystic fibrosis. We're proud to partner with CMN and support their mission of making miracles happen for children like Reese. Additionally, United Networks of America is dedicated to supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in their efforts to find a cure and improve the lives of those affected by CF. #childrensmiraclenetwork #cysticfibrosis #cff

The youngest of three, Reese was immediately placed in an oxygen tent when she was born before she could meet her parents. While they could go home the next day, Reese had a persistent cough for the following two weeks, so her parents went in for testing. Reese was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF). They turned to the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center, the only hospital in the Capital Region providing specialized CF care for infants and children like Reese. The medical team helped her parents learn all that they could about the disease and get her started on the appropriate medications, chest therapies, and treatment protocol. Now, thirteen-year-old Reese undergoes treatment twice a day, every day. Her diligence pays off in keeping her active and ensuring that she is the happiest, healthiest version of herself that she can be. Today, Reese is a basketball player, loves to swim, and watches and posts videos on TikTok. She sees her siblings as her champions. Reese lives her life around her treatments and medications. It shows that it’s possible to have a fun and fulfilling life with a life-altering condition like cystic fibrosis. Thanks to donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Reese has been able to receive ongoing, complex care for cystic fibrosis.
