I came to this place both because I love a good brewery but also because I read this was a good place to sample Louisville's famous beer cheese.

We had done a bunch of shit consecutively in the preceding hours that did not include eating so the moment we were finished with Evan Williams' Bourbon Experience (lmao because it seems like every other person came here after a bourbon tour) we b-lined for this place which was a reasonable walk from most things on that street.

We were seated immediately, plenty of tables available at around 5pm on Halloween.

Our server was awesome, he was so nice and did an excellent job taking care of us, always checking to see if we needed anything.

We both chose something from the draught menu to wet the whistle. I already knew we were ordering the pretzel (for that beer cheese) but we were enticed by the fried pickle chips.

Everything came out very quickly but regardless, they have tons of TVs viewable from every angle that allowed me to catch up on things like who was playing in the world series, for example.

The pretzel itself was almost as good as the beer cheese. For starters, it was massive. The texture couldn't have been better. It was warm. The salt was very appropriately distributed. I don't have enough good things to say about this work of gluten art. The beer cheese was also phenomenal. They really don't provide enough given the size of the pretzel, even with the mustard. I was very tempted to ask for "ten more of these" when the server came over to ask if we needed anything but due to fear of rejection, I just said "no thanks!"

Fried pickle chips were also very tasty. Paired well with whatever that dipping sauce was.

      Great time, great food.

Heard great things about this spot and dropped by for dinner on our way into town. Unfortunately, it was a poor experience from start to finish.

We ordered drinks and those took a bit to get. Also not a fan of places with no prices for beers on the menus. It was pretty loud because it was trivia night but our server tried to make the best of it. The citra ass down was excellent but the cold ass beer was just kind of meh.

We ordered our food and didn't have to wait too long. However, two orders of fries and a side of chili came out cold with the rest of the food. The burgers were warm-ish but could have been hotter. Our server replaced the fries but that took some time. She checked the chili and said that it was cold back in the kitchen and offered a different side instead. We asked for a few things repeatedly and had to remind our server of it a few times before we would get it (salt, boxes, drinks, the check). I will say the chicken tenders and brussel sprouts were on point.

The service went from bad to worse as we waited for boxes and the check for some time. Sounds like there was an issue with another table and our server was pretty distracted with it. We tried to be understanding that the food issues weren't with our server but then the service went downhill pretty fast too.

Great potential - just needs to get some things together.

      1 check-in

Came here to have some drinks and food and really did like a couple of their beers but some of them were the greatest at least for me. Their food, however was really good and it really enjoyed it. It is certainly a place to come hang out since it's right next to the stadium.

Nothing really special here. A good selection of craft beer but snobbily little to offer the low hops/non IPA drinker. Not a favorite.

This was a friendly little brewery we happened upon when walking around in downtown Louisville. They had a great variety of beers with some cool names. There was a great jimmy Buffet soundtrack playing because he had just passed away the night before.

I am partial to wheat beer; so I tried the Sol Mate. It was served very cold and really good. My husband tried a few different beers and the one he liked best was the Cold Ass beer. We were there in the late afternoon and ordered the pretzel appetizer which came with beer cheese and a mustard dipping sauce. It looked great; but actually wasn't very good. It was a little hard and the cheese sauce wasn't creamy at all.

Our bartender was extremely friendly and he even let me charge my phone behind the bar. It's in a good location downtown near the river and the Louisville Slugger museum. I would recommend ATG more for drinking rather than having a meal.

The food was not very good. I don't know what else to say. Everything we ordered was subpar and below, and it was really expensive.

Wow! Great deals on top shelf bourbon and an amazing Reuben burger that passed a picky 13-year old's taste test! Delish! Great service in a neighborhood bar atmosphere.

Food was delicious. Our Server Christina(sp?) was very knowledgeable of the menu. She was attentive to our needs and was the true definition of "service with a smile". We will be back the next time we are in town.

Great food, prices and location! You can't ask for much more than this! $24 for food for delicious, high quality food for two and a great beer! The location is perfect - situation right between the Slugger Stadium and Angel's Envy Distillery. We visited on a Monday for lunch, so we were able to find free street parking nearby. I could see how this would be more challenging during the evening and weekends.I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're headed downtown!

Attached restaurant to the Minor League Bats stadium.

TVs are along the walls, and it's a lively atmosphere with people enjoying a bite before watching the pitch. Our crew of 6 had a long wait before the game: not surprised. But we got in and out before the Bats wiped the Saints for the evening.

Wasn't feeling very hungry and just ordered the pretzel. It came hot with classic combo of mustard and beer cheese. It was soft and hit the spot.
