We bought a house during the pandemic and needed some rooms painted before we fully moved in. Certa Pro followed covid guidelines and got the job done. Very happy with the result and much better than I could have done. I would definitely consider using them again to paint the additional rooms and hallways.

Met with Lee to have my commercial building painted. Part of the discussion was caulking all the cracks before painting. They barely caulked any cracks and they didn't remove the old caulk before adding the new caulk to them. There are still MANY visible cracks throughout the paint job and Lee belittled me when I pointed it out. He feels like he did a professional job which I disagree with. Their pressure washer busted out two of my screens which he did agree to replace but instead of accepting blame he told me "we don't pressure wash windows" alluding to the damage not coming from his crew. My roll up door that was painted is dented in from their work. I'm still picking up their tape and trash from around my building four days later.

Fantastic! Met with Vicki at my new house: movers were coming in less than 2 weeks and I was hoping to get it painted before that but it was a tight time table. She quoted me on the spot and said she would see what she could do to get a team in prior to the move in date.
Low and behold she called me later and could get a team
In there in 3 days and get it done prior to the move in!! YES!!!
Her 4 man team, led by Jorge & his dad, Fidel, were fantastic! They painted all trim, doors, built-in shelves and walls. My new place looks great. They cleaned up after themselves, no paint splatter or drippy paint.
They're coming back in a few months to do the exterior!! Very excited!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - David R.Louisville, KY592Apr 29, 2021
I was extremely impressed with team that painted , they were great and the job was flawless
The reason for the 3 stars is with a damage to patio blinds. I reported the damage not looking for them to repair but to inform. The acknowledgment I got was " sorry for the inconvenience " then nothing even after sending pictures. Again I was not asking for them to fix but at least a response better than the one above mentioned. They were not the cheapest!!
I want to reiterate that the team painters were OUTSTANDING!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - William H.SoMa, San Francisco, CA02Apr 8, 2022
I selected CertaPro to paint the exterior trim on a home and garage. They were right in the middle of the 3 bids that I got. I chose them because they could start the job right away and other were several months out. I was totally please with the job that they did on my house and garage. The crew was efficient and courteous. The whole job and clean-up was very professional. I would certainly hire them again for any of my painting needs.

Again Thank You,

My experience with Certa Pro was one the worst customer experiences I have been a part of. Certa Pro is a lot more expensive than the local painters so I assumed that by choosing them I would receive an exceptional level of quality and customer service. Not the case.
After a poor job, the painters had to come back out 3 separate times to fix mistakes and repair damages done. Many of the promises made during the quote were not delivered and I was told "that's as good as gets."
After their 4th visit they opted to not do a detailed walk through and every day since I have found unpainted areas and different colors of paint splattered on my trim and walls.
Knowing that they didn't deliver on their promises they didn't offer me any solutions. Not only did I pay for a poor paint job, the customer service was poor and I am now fixing their mistakes myself with couple of thousand dollars less in my pocket.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Dana (Residential Sales Associate and Project coordinator) went on the estimate and provided a proposal on June 2; Mr. Pennington assigned the project to us on June 14; and we started the planning process on the 17th.
Upon arrival, the drywallers were still working and were not ready for us. We rescheduled all our resources and waited for the drywallers to complete their portion of the project. Mr. Pennington acted as the general contractor and provided all the paint. His drywallers weren't done until June 22, at which point we started and subsequently finished on the 24th. Mr. Pennington moved in on the 25th -26th.
Dana followed up on June 28th when he advised us that he wasn't satisfied. We addressed everything on his list on June 29th and 30th. Mr. Pennington had a total of seven issues. Our team did not cause five of the seven. There were other trades in the house prior to us and the house was vacant with a key available to all, to go in and out at their will. Below were the issues that were brought to our attention:
* Mineral deposits in faucet - His statement, and I quote: "the painters were the last ones in here, so it's on them and I hold you accountable." We washed all our brushes and rollers in yard, so our crew could not have caused this issue. Paint simply could not have worked its way into the faucet, and it was unreasonable to hold us accountable. Still, I attempted to remedy the situation myself. I disassembled his faucet and cleaned the screen of mineral deposits - not paint - in front of him.
* Glue on the floor - Which I cleaned up for him immediately. Besides having the floors covered in both plastic and a tarp, we did not use any adhesives in performance of our painting contract. We have pictures of the entire floor covered up with plastic. His statement, and I quote: "the plastic was torn in three places". The tears would have been caused by ladders, but would not have been an issue thanks to the tarp on top of the plastic.
* Stain on carpet - Which was cleaned, literally, in seven seconds with a Clorox sanitary hand wipe/cleaner. The room was painted blue, but the stain was black. He claimed that it was paint and that it wasn't there before. The stain was totally removed. It was not paint.
* Missing faceplate - When removing plates we always place them close to their original location. Again there were a lot of trades in and out of the house, including drywall and electricians, that would of removed the plates. I didn't argue with him. I instead went to the hardware store eight blocks away, and returned ten minutes later with a new plate.
* Splatter on fixture - The splatter was actually drywall mud, which we cleaned up immediately for him. This was residue left behind by drywallers who had drywalled the ceilings.
The two remaining issues were:
* The inside of a cupboard was not painted, and we remedied this immediately.
* There were a couple of windows that weren't caulked. We caulked them immediately.
Another issue he accused us of
* There was a dent/mark on the wall, and coincidentally there was an office chair within 2 feet of the wall, which was the same height. The blemish appeared to me as though it was created after the wall was painted. We said nothing and simply made the repair.
Overall this was a tough customer, and he was not fair in his assumptions and accusations. Dana managed the project well and cleaned the drywall mud left by drywall guys while the rest of the crew addressed the remaining concerns. - Linda S.Louisville, KY17714188Jul 28, 2019
We have a historic home with a combination of old plaster and drywall from a renovation. We had unusual peeling plus water damage from a leak which took lots of work. Lee came in and gave me an estimate and explained the work that had to be done. They worked with me on my schedule, explained what they were doing and how long it would take. They were prompt, polite, clean and did a beautiful job. We are very happy with the work and the way our house looks now.

We had a great experience with CertaPro painters! I met with Dana on Monday afternoon and they were able to get started the next day! It's now Wednesday and they are finished!
We had them paint our kitchen, living room, and dining room space as well as hallways, high walls going up the stairs and the laundry room! There was a LOT of patching to be done and they did a great job! They even did all of the trim and doors (they were badly scratched by a dog).
Yes, they are pricey but for the work they did in such a short amount of time, it was well worth it!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lisa H.Louisville, KY1571Aug 21, 2019
If you're looking for a painting company that gets the job on time and done well, this company is great. They just finished painting the interior of our house and the whole process was easy and efficient from start to finish. Vicki was our sales manager and she was fantastic to work with and helped us schedule the work efficiently. LJ and the painting crew did excellent work and they got it all done quickly and professionally.

My experience with this company was the most seemless, efficient, and thorough. I could not be more pleased with the work their team did. I called Lee at CertaPro when I saw what an amazing job his team did staining and sealing my neighbor's deck. Within fifteen minutes of making the call, Lee came to discuss my plans to stain and seal my home's cedar posts, fence and back deck. He was incredibly thorough, conscientious and helpful. The next day, the crew was here pressure washing. A few days later, my posts, fence and deck were stained and sealed...and are gorgeous. Jeff and JoJo were extremely communicative, punctual and did an awesome job. They were able to complete my project promptly and courteously and skillfully. It's clear they're consummate professionals. I could not be happier with the work they did. I could not sing higher praises for this establishment. Incredibly well-run with exceptional team members. I will certainly be using them for all future needs. Highly recommend!!!!!
