Jeff Hurst at REMAX Properties East made selling a home in Kentucky while I reside in California easy and a pleasure. What could have been a difficult & painful process was seamless and perfect. I am taking care of my mother's estate from long distance. He set everything up for me so it was easy and fast. We had the home on the market less than a week, got the offer, he walked me through the process personally, very hands on. He handled details that most realtors would balk at and I am so very grateful to him for all he did. If Jeff says something it is gospel, he is trustworthy and knows his trade well. I recommend him as a realtor with great confidence. What he did for me was nothing short of amazing. If I ever need a realtor again it will be Jeff Hurst. I cannot say enough good things about Jeff Hurst and Remax Properties East.

It has been a year since I rented from Art Geissler, and I'm still perturbed enough to Yelp about it.

If you are a woman, do not even think about renting from Art Geissler if you have any self-respect. He is a misogynist who will openly flaunt a firearm to strongarm you into agreeing with him. I don't know about you, but when I am making real estate deals, I don't need a gun pointed at someone laying on a desk between us.

Lies, mold and water damage that didn't get fixed, and holding my deposit for over a month after I left AND charging cleaning fees for a clean house aside, this man is one of the most unprofessional, disgusting humans I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

RUN AWAY. FAR, FAR AWAY.

We had to extend our contract twice. Took over 60 days to close. One week after closing, Remax Properties East Sokoler Medley Team contacts me asking for an additional $510.00 because it was missed during closing. Remax Properties East Sokoler Medley Team represented myself and the buyer but claim "it's not anyone's fault and this just happens". I've bought and sold many properties, seven (7) in the Louisville metro area, and never had the hassle I had like dealing with Remax Properties East Sokoler Medley Team. They (Kathy McGann Pfeffer) claimed the covid pandemic caused problems since everyone is not at the table during closing to review everything when my closing had the seller, buyer, closing attorney and seller's agent present. Yet I'm being asked to write a check for an additional $510.00 because these professionals missed something after reading line-by-line the closing documents to both me and the buyer out loud whom they represented. Ridiculous! I'll seek a different firm for any future transactions in Louisville.
