Cornerstone Government Affairs reposted this
Last week, ACMA held its 2024 Spring Legislative Summit to highlight key policy priorities for members of Congress and demonstrate the great work our members are doing to grow the nation’s critical minerals sector. In addition to meeting with nearly twenty bipartisan Congressional offices and committees of jurisdiction in the House and Senate, ACMA hosted its first industry-government dialogue alongside Bipartisan Policy Center and Dentons Global Advisors and Cornerstone Government Affairs to discuss US government mobilization and whole-of-government coordination on critical minerals policies and funding. ACMA is grateful for the leadership of these policymakers, and we thank our partners for the incredible work that made this such an informative and collaborative two days.

Cornerstone's Public Affairs team is very thankful to Christine Hardman Broad and Catherine Costakos for presenting an engaging and informative "Cornerstone U" session on their fantastic work in financial communications at Edelman Smithfield!
Great to join Cornerstone Government Affairs' "Cornerstone U" with my colleague Catherine Costakos to share more about our backgrounds in financial communications and our work at Edelman Smithfield. Lots of great questions and conversation from the group. Thanks for having us, Kirsten West (Hartman)!

Additionally, in Denver, we helped Sysco celebrate the launch of the vehicle tax credit alongside Governor Jared Polis, CO Energy Office Executive Director Will Toor and Rep. Junie Joseph as the company prepares to launch their first fleet of electric trucks in the state!

Proud to support Sysco, the first company to adopt an electric heavy-duty fleet, through various Maryland initiatives including securing a $2M grant from the MD Energy Administration for the company to convert its diesel trucks to electric trucks.
