The old Herald-Leader building continues to transform on the edge of downtown as the new Fayette County Public Schools (KY) HILL (Hub for Innovative Learning and Leadership) school takes shape. The facility will combine the two previously separate Career and Technical Education facilities at one location and add several new programs. Students from the aviation pathway flew drones to capture the footage you’re seeing here to create this video! This is just one of the exciting educational opportunities the HILL will afford FCPS students. Champlin Architecture

This morning, we broke ground on the new UK Cancer and Advanced Ambulatory Building. Located across from UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital, the 550,000-square-foot facility will become the new home to the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center, Kentucky's only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as a Comprehensive Spine Center, ambulatory surgery space, and other outpatient services. “As Kentucky's flagship university, we have a responsibility to lead the way in health care. This building signifies our commitment to addressing the critical health needs of our state, providing advanced care across various disciplines and ensuring that Kentuckians have access to the most innovative treatments close to home." -President Eli Capilouto

The first new building on the Department of Criminal Justice Training campus in 20 years, the Jody Cash Multipurpose Training Facility is well-under construction. This state-of-the-art 42,794 square foot indoor firing range facility is named in honor of fallen Calloway County Chief Deputy Jody Cash, a distinguished law enforcement veteran who dedicated his life to service. Slated for completion in 2025, our design is committed to nurturing the next generation of law enforcement officers, aiming to graduate over a thousand Kentuckians every year. We are honored to be part of this initiative, shaping a safer future for Kentucky. Champlin Architecture
