Our CEO Dr. Paula Grisanti was delighted to be interviewed by KET - Kentucky Educational Television to discuss our Cosmic Brain Organoid research study, launched to the International Space Station for a 6th time this month! This investigation uses 3-D brain organoids derived from the cells of people with Parkinson’s disease and primary progressive MS to study neurodegeneration in microgravity. The ability to observe cell interactions in a way not possible on Earth may provide valuable new insight into how these disorders develop, accelerate biomarker discovery for early diagnosis, and open the door to potential new therapeutics options for these and other neurogenerative diseases that affect tens of millions worldwide. #stemcells #space #research #ISS Dr. Paula Grisanti https://ow.ly/USSU50Rc8xr
