Boombozz Taphouse

Stephanie is awesome!!! She was so fun!! We came into town and this is the second time she has been our server. Did a great job!!!

This is a pizza place that has it all. Lots of seating and many TVs with a variety of spots showing. The pizza types, sandwiches and pasta dishe are quite a selection and made with high quality ingredients. Wings, too! The service is friendly and efficient. We have been there many times. Happened to go in on a Saturday about 1pm. Quite inside but what a surprise...$5 Bloody Mary's or Mimosas from 11-2. A great option!

Disappointing. I didn't know that they don't make their own pizza dough and rely on suppliers for pre made crusts.

Anyway, their thin crust used to be pretty decent. However, since they switched suppliers, it often gets overcooked and even burned.

The framed pizza industry magazine covers touting their triumphs should be taken down as I am sure the wins were not with pre made crusts.

It's a shame as they're in walking distance to my house. I will still come to drink beer (still a decent selection) but I have removed Boombozz from my short list of pizza joints.

I dined in for a later lunch and when I tell you the bartender was amazing. She was the host, the bartender, and the waitress. And her service was impeccable and I wish I could remember her name. The food was delicious and rather eye catching.

One thing I always check is how clean the establishment is, and this location was very tidy. Didn't have to clean off the seats before you sit down kind of clean. The pictures don't do the food justice but if you haven't tried eating here, you should.Calzone!

Very much enjoyed my dining experience at Boombozz yesterday evening. We sat outside since the weather was nice. The Eastern Parkway and Bardstown Rd intersection is always filled with traffic, so I wouldn't say it was soothing or peaceful with all the cars going by. But the music they were playing over our table was some fun 80's hits, so that helped. We were greeted and sat quickly. Our server, Matthew, did a great job. He was very attentive.
We had apps and a beer while waiting for a takeout pizza.
The toasted raviolis were marvelous, highly recommend. The Asiago cheese bread also never disappoints. They have a pretty decent domestic craft beer draft menu. Their bourbon prices are about average, maybe a little high but not bad.
They have a parking lot with ample spaces.
We usually sit at the bar and probably will next time since the traffic was a bit much.
They have lots of TV's for sports watching. And they have live music sometimes.
We will be back. You should check it out sometime.

You're really going to charge nearly all your customers a surcharge for using a credit card? You're just another greedy business owner creating false inflation to increase profits. We won't be back

Delightful server,Hannah!! She made sure our group of ten was well taken care of! Orders were taken and served in a timely manner. Drink refills were always given. It is great that they have fever an 8-inch personal size pizza, which is very tasty. "Side salads" are very generous in size!!

This is my go-place for plzza and wings. The pasta and sandwiches are also quite good. Two of the serving people, Matthew and Hanna, have been the ones to take care of me. Both are friendly and very efficient. I try to visit on nights when one or both are on staff. With so many TVs it's easy to find something to watch. It's a large place, but the noise level is not objectionable.

If you like a good pie, this is the place to go! I would not call it New York style pizza, with the big slices... it's more of just a normal American pizza that's is really, really good! I like the extra cheese and extra pepperoni I'm just a regular crust which is not too thick, and not too thin. Just right, with a bit of a chew to it.

The location is great, right in the heart of the Highlands, so you could have dinner here and then walk around and have a drink somewhere else or do a little window shopping..lovely!

This is also a good place to watch a sports because they have a big bar, lots of TVs. I think they have specials on drinks when UK or U of L is playing. Nice!

They forgot or lost our sons order in with kitchen. When we we got our food, they told us that his order went go to the back of the line. Over an hour and a half for chicken tenders and chips when everyone else was done eating. We canceled the order and they still charged us 20% gratuity! Absolutely the worst we have been treated anywhere.
